Dear ladies and gentlemen, dear members of the Czech Society of Cardiology, dear guests,
We would like to invite you to the XXVIIth Annual Congress of the Czech Society of Cardiology, which will be traditionally held in Brno, on May 12-15, 2019. The professional part of the Congress will have a very intensive program composed mainly of educational blocks proposed by associations and working groups of our society and scientific presentations of participants.
There should be many interactive sections in the program, debates as well as popular educational blocks, including rich sections especially intended for young cardiology in pre-degree preparation. Additionally, there should be a rich participation of foreign guests. The main themes of the Congress will be cardiomyopathy and rare diseases in cardiology, the sudden cardiac death risk stratification and the present and future non-coronary interventions.
Naturally, it is not possible to physically attend all interesting presentations and blocks in the course of the Congress. Therefore, as the last year, we will provide access to the presentations with authors' permission on the CSC website. Thus you will be able to see them any time. Also this year we will seek maximum integration of electronic media including an electronic program. For those of you who do not favour this trend, the printed program will still be available in a limited amount. However, we would be happy if the use of electronic media prevailed, with respect to the economical and ecological burden.
The Congress will also present the dialogue of the CSC with the Ministry of Health, health care payers, other professional societies, and, for the first time, the digital form of educational programs will be significantly emphasized.
We firmly believe that the Congress program will attract your attention and we will meet in Brno.
