Dear colleagues and friends,

   This year it will have been 34 years since the Children's Heart Centre has been established in the University Hospital Motol and thus the fate of patients with congenital heart disease in the Czech Republic has been completely changed. And it is also this year that our department is going to move into the newly reconstructed spaces of the children's hospital.

  In relation to these two fortunate events and mainly on the occasion of the 80^th birthday of Prof. Milan Šamánek, the founder of the Children's Heart Centre, we would like to invite you to a festive international symposium on congenital heart disease with the participation of remarkable international and Czech experts.

   We look forward to welcome you at our Symposium on December 5 and 6 in the Břevnov Monastery!
