Information for active participation

Information for the presenters
You can only register for active participation using the registration system of CSC at www.kardio-cz.cz – after entering your valid login data in the right part of the screen. If you do not remember your login data and you already registered for the congress in the past or if you are the society member (i.e. you have your Account), contact the society secretariat at tel.: 543 213 825 or e-mail: cks@kardio-cz.cz. If you are not a member and you have never been to our congress, you have to create a new Account – using the link “My account” in the main menu of www.kardio-cz.cz (congress registrations).

When you enter the registration system, select “Active participation” and enter the abstract following the instructions.

When the active participation registration is finished, i.e. on January 11, 2010 at 24.00 (midnight), all the registered abstracts will be evaluated by reviewers (this does not concern the invited presentations in WG/PG, which do not have abstracts).
The confirmation of the presentation placement, or the information about its refusal, will be sent to all authors by e-mail in mid- March 2010. The same is valid for the confirmation of chairmanship.

NEW: The 18th annual congress will see a “Young Cardiologists Section” for the first time. This will replace the former “Young Cardiologists Days”. When entering an abstract in this section, choose “Young Cardiologists Section” as the type of presentation. This section is designed for CSC members aged below 35; all of the presentations will be evaluated by a committee which will choose 3 best papers to be awarded.

The length of oral presentation is set (unless stated otherwise in the Program) to 12 minutes.
